Passive-Optical-Network (PON)Broadband Services Inc. has joined the new wave of network innovation by offering Passive-Optical-Network (PON) design.  Doug Coverdale, president and founder, has received certification from Optical Solutions, a leading vendor in the Fiber-To-The-Premises (FTTP) industry, to design Passive-Optical-Networks. Graduates of Optical Solutions' PON Certification Program are skilled in developing state of the art, cost effective PON networks. This certification puts Broadband Services on the cutting edge of network design.

LODE DATA CorporationOn May 11-14, 2003  broadband designers nationwide participated in the "World's Greatest Designer" contest during the Cable-Tec Expo in

Philadelphia, PA.  Doug Coverdale of Broadband Services, Inc. received an award for second place.  Doug is a 25+ year veteran of the cable industry and the founder of Broadband Services, Inc. He has proven his ability to create efficient, cost effective broadband networks to both customers and the industry as a whole.

The contest was sponsored by Lode Data, the industry's leading provider of broadband network design and drafting software.  Participants had to design and optimize a 2 mile node in no more than 20 minutes.  The top ten winners were chosen based upon efficiency and accuracy.
